Love is in the air.......... Engagement Photographer for Midland, Tx

I'm so excited to be able to post new pictures, especially when the couple are very close friends of mine. When I first asked Bryan and Michelle to describe how they would like their pictures to turn out they both said......... "not country". Now, you have to understand, neither of them are originally from Texas so the whole "rustic, country" theme wasn't going to fly with them! LOL.....

We were able to get some beautiful outside shots that don't look like Midland! LOL......... here are a few.

Now this is the first of 3 sessions for the shoot, and the next 2 shoots I'm so excited about!! We have one "dressier" location if you will and then we are going to do some more outside shots but these will be a winter themed.
I'm so blessed to have Bryan and Michelle as friends and can't wait to travel off and watch them "tie the knot"!!! Love you guys!!

Life as I know it now..............

Whew..... Things have been movin' and a'shaking!! Let's see, I've taken a short hiatus from photography as I have returned the Nikon back to it's rightful owner.... (thanks Nate for letting me play with your toy!!), and am currently in search of purchasing my very own. So as soon as that happens I'll update you, just in case you're needing some memories captured for always! I actually miss having the camera in my hands and laughing with my friends as I'm getting them to try random poses. But soon...... I'll be back at it.

I am now working full-time for Alliance Medical Supply...... woot woot!!! I love it, I'm back in the medical field and thriving, Thank you, Jesus!! I'm also working a night a week at J Carino's to grab some extra spending cash, as Christmas is JUST around the corner! Scary!! It'll be Frankie's 2nd Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction with all the Christmas decorations, etc.

WE ARE MOVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord!!! FINALLY!!!! After nearly 8 years in apartments and town homes we have finally got a house! YAY!!! I'm sooo excited! Can't you tell?!?! It's a "big, big house.... with lots and lots of room"........." big, big yard- where we can play football"! Ok, Sorry I just had to put that! LOL. But it is a decent sized home with a big yard for FrankieJ to run around and play in!! God is sooooooooooo GOOD!!!!!

Heavenly sounds..........errr ..... maybe LOL

So another rambling of mine.... that's not totally about photography. My little man's vocabulary is getting rather extensive and he adds new words daily. This past weekend, as I would guide him away from our fireplace ledge, he looked at me with a very serious face and said "Don't"! Just like that!! I mean, whatintheworld!!!?!?!?!??! Part of me wanted to bust out laughing but I knew if I did he would start giggling and the whole "teaching" part of it would be lost. All I'm waiting for now is for him to tell me "stop it"...... oooooii!

So last night he didn't want to sleep in his bed and I was more than happy to cuddle with him and give him kisses...... that changed pretty quickly when he decided to plant his little feet against my back and say "moof mumma"! Really?!?!? Come'on!!!! It's MY bed and MY son decides that he wants to be ruler of the house......... well he really is!

Ok, enough of my wild ramblings.... I should have been in bed over an hour ago. Wish me luck on Saturday...... I'll be shooting the cutest family ever....... Evrard/Dubase!! They are adorable and their little boy is a little stunna!!! Look for pics to come sometime next week!!

This is the reason I capture smiles and memories.... the reason that I myself smile each day!!! My son is the best thing that has ever happened to me.... the greatest accomplishment in my life right now. Here are a few pictures of him playing at the park yesterday afternoon!
